Last Thursdays with Naveen Rijal

Every Last Thursday of Gregorian month, Bikalpa an Alternative jointly organize the “Last Thursday’s” event at Biratnagar in collaboration with Hotel Namaskar, Makalu Television and Merryland College (BBA) Biratnagar.   Objective of the program is to disseminate the ideas and knowledge about entrepreneurship through the personal sharing of successful entrepreneurs. Also the program creates an opportunity to do networking and share ideas among the participants.

On 27th October 2016, Entrepreneur Naveen Rijal joined us for the 32nd series of ‘Last Thursdays’ at Hotel Namaskar for a discussion on the existing scenario of industry in the Biratnagar with over more than 55 people.

The program started with moderator Basanta Adhikari, Bikalpa an Alternative Director addressing the audience. He introduced everyone about the program and shared the objective of program.

He started his journey from his own small family business where he got involved at the age of 13. He completed his Graduation from Mahendra Morang College Biratnagar, again he got involved in his family business of Lubricant. Having some dissatisfaction with his family business he went to Kathmandu. There he stayed for 6 month and could not find any job.

After returning to Biratnagar. He took some loan and established Rijalco Water Polytank business. At this point of time, he was learning the business. He said due to the team effort, water tank business is now one of the leading businesses in Nepal.

During until tenure of time he had started many business and closed some business too. He had to change methods with time. There is no guarantee in success in every business.

Quality maintenance, marketing of the product is a most in Business. Since in this competitive age locations plays vital role for business too. He also conveyed message that everybody should be committed to his or her work to achieve success in it. When others can do it, we can too, so reach for it. The participants listened enthusiastically to tales of his early days and the success that he had gradually gone on to become.
