Bikalpa an Alternative organize the Friday Discussion  program twice a month (every alternative Friday). The program was organized at the venue of Hotel Namaskar, Biratnagar at 5:00pm onwards.  On 31st of October 2014 the discussion was made on the topic of Foreign direct Investment where 15 number of participants were present to discuss their view.The program is designed to engage and inform the core members on the ideas of free market economy and who are interested in the ideas of Liberty, Prosperity and Freedom. Discussions are made on the contemporary issues (local or national) through free market perspective. Article is selected and shared within the members to prepare before the program. On this series discussion was made on the Article “Foreign Direct Investment”, where participants discuss on the advantage, disadvantage and success case stories of the FDI. Discussion was very helpful to make clear on how FDI has effectively helped to raise the economic growth of the developed countries. It also make easy to understand that FDI provides technology advancement, increase competition and Improved human resources that ultimately benefits the country that receives FDI. Discussion was really healthy and positive, which ended at 6:45 pm.
