Friday Discussion is a program designed to engage and inform the core members on the ideas of free market economy and classical liberal ideas. Discussions are made on the contemporary issues (local or national) through free market perspective. Article is selected and shared within the members to prepare oneself for the program. The program is organized at the venue of Hotel Namaskar, Biratnagar on every alternative Friday (twice a month).

On this series, discussion was made on “ Biratnagar Color Zone ”, where 11 numbers of participants took part to discuss their views. As we all know our Municipality had come up with the planning to color the 46000 houses so, regarding on this issue we discuss about it our regular Friday discussion. Every human being have their own choices on one can enforce or enslave him from his choices of freedom. How can our government come up with the planning Making Biratnagar as a one Color Zone?

Some of the issues discussed were it is the monopoly decision taken by the municipality. It is not voluntary enforcement action of the government. During the discussion some also argued that every citizen had Choice and Freedom under the rule of law without government interference. This one color zone decision had avowedly deprived every citizen right to choice and freedom. it is not pragmatic should be legitimate Arguing from other prospective the economic cost and benefit will be shared among all the citizen of Biratnagar which would create other burden for them. Lastly the discussion was sum –up by there are many other local developmental work and issues that municipality should focus.
