November 26 .Every Last Thursday of Gregorian month, Bikalpa an Alternative jointly organize the “Last Thursday’s” event at Biratnagar in coordination with Hotel Namaskar, E4N and Makalu Television. Objective of the program is to disseminate the ideas and knowledge about entrepreneurship through the sharing of successful entrepreneurs. Also the program creates an opportunity to do networking and share ideas. On the episode of November,Purbanchal Regional Industry of Chamber and Commerce,Executive Board Member of Morang Merchant Association, Director and principal of BKVM School, Entrepreneur Mr Rabin Dahal joined us for our continual series of ‘Last Thursdays’ at Hotel Namaskar for a discussion on the existing scenario of the Growing Hotel industry in the Biratnagar with over more than 60 people.
The program made the first move with a introduction Session. Suman Rai, Program Assistant of Bikalpa an Alternative moderated the program welcoming the participants and guest speaker. The objective of the Program was Shared by Ms.Reema Shrestha.
After Completion of his study B.com from Delhi University. He came back to Nepal and started to support his family School (BKVM). Now he is working as Director and Principal of the school. According to him there was in starting there were 800 students now it has reached out to the 2800 students. It is one of the leading schools with well equipped infrastructure and ground. Beside that he had also started another trading business of fibers thread, it is multinational company and he is only sole agent supplier of Nepal. Further he also states that he wanted to do something in transmission line but due to the current unrest situation he is focusing on his school and his trading business.
His message was today generation Youth should be more focused to be the creator rather than job seeker. You should know your field of interest and choose it wisely. Dream is not only important youth be focused and do hard work to achieve it. He further said that for the growth of any institution the team member plays an important role. You alone cannot do anything. We should also empower our team member and co worker for the growth of the institution. There should be trust and support among the team members and also incentives of freedom and responsibility to the worker so that they would be accountable to their work.After the guest speaker concluded his deliberation speech, the floor was set open for interaction among the participants for an hour where Mr.Dahal clarifies the participant’s queries. With this the program was ended in 4:45pm
