The Last Thursdays with Jagat Prasad Aryal

May 28 2015 Every Last Thursday of Gregorian month, Bikalpa an Alternative jointly organize the “Last Thursday’s” event at Biratnagar in coordination with Hotel Namaskar, E4N and Makalu Television. Objective of the program is to disseminate the ideas and knowledge about entrepreneurship through the sharing of successful entrepreneurs. Also the program creates an opportunity to do networking and share ideas. On the episode of May, Social Entrepreneur Mr Jagat Prasad Aryal,  Founder president of Birateshwor  Briddhasharam Sewa Samiti Biratnagar, was invited as a guest speaker at the program. Program was started at 4:20. Basanta Adhikari, Director of Bikalpa. Alternative moderated the program welcoming the participants and guest speaker. He also shared the objective of the program.  After his welcome Speech, guest speaker Mr. Jagat Prasad Aryal shares his personal story on the journey of his Social entrepreneurship.  During his speech he gave us wake-up call by sharing his inspiring story. He told us that youth are the catalyst of change and also share his future plan and idea of his work. He made us to rethink by his work that Age is not the specific bar to do the good work. He also highlighted his challenges and opportunities that he faced in his work. He to share that there are plenty of opportunities available in our own country. and encourage the youth to take a leadership. After the guest speaker concluded his deliberation speech, the floor was set open for interaction among the participants for an hour where Mr. Jagat Aryal clarifies the participant’s queries. Rima Shrestha Director of Hotel Namaskar, handover the token of love to the guest speaker and she also shared some of journey of her work.  The Program was formally ended at 5:30 and before heading for tea and informal networking. The program was organized at the venue of Hotel Namaskar,Biratnagar. Total 83 numbers of participants took part in the program.
