March 31 2016 Every Last Thursday of Gregorian month, Bikalpa an Alternative jointly organize the “Last Thursday’s” event at Biratnagar in coordination with Hotel Namaskar, E4N and Makalu Television. Objective of the program is to disseminate the ideas and knowledge about entrepreneurship through the sharing of successful entrepreneurs. Also the program creates an opportunity to do networking and share ideas. On the episode of March, Entrepreneur Mr Abinash Bohra Managing Director of Bhora Group of Industries and Past President of Morang Merchant Association was invited as a guest speaker at the program. Program was started at 4:15 pm. Basanta Adhikari, Director of Bikalpa and Alternative moderated the program welcoming the participants and guest speaker. Rima Shrestha, Director of Hotel Namaskar, shared the objective of the program. She also pitched her short Speech to inspire the audience. After her pitch, guest speaker Mr. Abinash Bohra shares his personal story on the journey of his entrepreneurship.

Mr Abhinash Bohra. started by telling that he was there to hear something from the youths rather than to give a speech.There is no end. The day I say I am.successful that day my downfall will start. Starting from child hood memories being a Single child he wasn’t allowed to go out for studies. Though he studies some years in Budanilkhantha My mother always kepy me near her. After my masters I went to do an internship for 6 months in japan. After my return I got into family business. Every two years we started to set up new industries. . I always wanted to start my own industry apart from my parents. So I went to starting a textile industry. I set up a fully automatic textile industry in Duhabi. But when I set up the industry, the downfall of the textile business started in Nepal. So I had to leave behind my dream and work in a new way. He also shares that personal life comes into the way despite our desire to do something. So I too got married. As we know mistakes is the good teacher to teach the lesson. So, he also shared his experience of looking cashbook for the 6 months which helps him to understand about the business. Working in cash book for 6 month his father transferred him in a managerial post. After 5 Years I became the MD of that unit and then onwards I never had to look back. After he came in charge, I began to emphasize on automation and also set up HR department to get the best of minds.

Mr bohara is also active member of various organization. He is active member of chamber of commerce. He became a member and board member and later the treasurer and finally the president of Morang wyapaar sangh. He is also the vice president of Nepal-India chamber of commerce. These tenures have shaped a lot of my personalities.
His message to the youth it is important to be risk taker and gain entrepreneur skill. Entrepreneur requires leadership skills to lead something new in the society.

After the guest speaker concluded his deliberation speech, the floor was set open for interaction among the participants for an hour where Mr. Abinash Bohra clarifies the participant’s queries.Guest speaker Mr. Pokhrel gave the prize to the winner of the quiz asked during the program. Rima Shrestha, Director of Hotel Namaskar, handover the token of love to the guest speaker. Program was formally ended at 5:30 heading for tea and informal networking. The program was organized at the venue of Hotel Namaskar, Biratnagar. Total 70 numbers of participants took part in the program.
