Bikalpa an Alternative organize the Friday Discussion  program twice a month (every alternative Friday). The program was organized at the venue of Hotel Namaskar, Biratnagar at 4:00pm onwards.  On 28th November 2014  discussion was made on the topic of Globalization and Poverty where 8 number of participants were present to discuss their view.The program is designed to engage and inform the core members on the ideas of free market economy, and who are interested in the ideas of Liberty, Prosperity and Freedom. Discussions are made on the contemporary issues (local or national) through free market perspective. Article is selected and shared within the members to prepare before the program. On this series, discussion was made on the Article “Globalization and Poverty”, where participants discuss on the advantage, disadvantage and success case stories of the Globalization in Vietnam, Taiwan and Sweden. Discussion was very helpful to make clear on how Globalization has effectively helped to reduce the poverty all around the world. It also make easy to understand that Globalization helps increase the per capital income of individual,  provides technology advancement, increase competition and Improved human resources that ultimately benefits the country. Discussion was live, healthy and positive, that ended at 6:45 pm.
