Bikalpa, an Alternative, organized an informative and interactive discussion program titled “Understanding Entrepreneurship with Visual Media” for different school-level students. The program aimed to engage Bikalpa fellowship members and explore the values and principles of entrepreneurship for school students. By incorporating visual media as an instructional tool, the program sought to make entrepreneurship concepts more accessible and relatable to the participating students. The event utilized various learning methods like videos, presentations, and interactive conversations.
During the program, Bikalpa conducted effective presentations covering essential aspects of entrepreneurship. These presentations included explaining what entrepreneurship is, real-life success stories of entrepreneurs, the Importance of being an entrepreneur in the future, and the challenges they faced along the way. These presentations aimed to inspire and motivate the students to consider entrepreneurship a viable career option and highlight the significance of creativity, innovation, and perseverance in this field.
As part of the program, two educational videos were showcased. i- Tshirt (related to Economic Freedom and the invisible hand ) and the Importance of Entrepreneurship This video provided insights into the economic principles that underpin entrepreneurship and how individual creativity, and innovation can lead to economic growth and prosperity. The second video emphasized the Importance of Entrepreneurship, showcasing the diverse opportunities available in the entrepreneurial world and the potential impact of creative and innovative ideas.
The program also encouraged interactive discussions between the Bikalpa fellowship members and the students. Bikalpa fellowship members shared their experiences and knowledge, acting as mentors to the school students. It allowed the students to ask questions, share their thoughts, and gain an understanding of entrepreneurship. The exchange of ideas and insights created a positive and enriching environment for learning, inspiring the students to explore their entrepreneurial potential. Overall, through engaging presentations, educational videos, and interactive discussions, the program effectively conveyed the values and principles of entrepreneurship to school students.
Altogether Bikalpa reached out to 14 Private and Community schools were 773 students were directly engaged in the program.
