Liberty Discussion is a program designed to engage and inform the core members on the ideas of market economy and classical liberal ideas. Discussions are made on the contemporary issues (local or national) through open market perspective. The article is selected and shared within the members to prepare oneself for the program. The program is organized at the venue of Bikalpa – an Alternative on every alternative Saturday (twice a month).

On, Saturday,25 May 2019 regular participants gathered on the Bikalpa office for the regular formal Liberty Discussion. The discussion was titled in Article “The world is getting Better.”

The theme revolved around “The world is getting better”. While having discussion participants were happy to share their opinion regarding the topic. The discussion was stressed on many important points. The world is getting better as industrialization has increased productivity made it possible to lift steadily more people out of extreme poverty. Literacy rate, health care, child Maternity rate, freedom has really increased compare to the past living ages year.  This change in human condition was only possible through human creativity and innovation.

The participants agreed to this part of sharing almost unanimously. Further, other issued were discussed from other dimension and by the participants. Participants were eager to know about economic growth and societal growth. We should also focus on changing the perspective of human towards society. We need to rethink about the ongoing growth model of the country. What kind of growth is needed to be sorted out for the sustainable growth of society and country?  A comprehensive public policy and inclusiveness should be made for the beneficiary of more people.
