Liberty Discussion is a program designed to engage and inform the core members on the ideas of free market economy and classical liberal ideas. Discussions are made on the contemporary issues (local or national) through free market perspective. Article is selected and shared within the members to prepare oneself for the program. The program is organized at the venue of Graduate Coach Biratnagar on every alternative Saturday (twice a month).

The members of the Liberty Discussion Group sat down at Graduate Coach, on the 16th Dec 2017 to discuss on the topic “Can Politicians Really Fight for Us“.

During the discussion participants enthusiastically debated upon the idea why politician didn’t   never really take into accounts all of the voters self-interest and most did not even bother too. Some argued due to the lack of integrity, tendency to go with the flow (in other words whatever fulfills their self-interest), double standards, cheap promises, mediocre performances are the common traits which had led to lost the faith from citizens. Every politician are derived by their self-interest and so they only care about their political interest.

Some of the other participant also expressed their view on they are supposed to speak for our rights but they are not doing it. It is important for us to make them accountable for their action so that they could not infringe on our rights. Like wise, participant were also interested in talking on for provincial and federal assembly election. As, time was limited members could not discuss more on these issues even though they desired to.
