Every Last Thursday of Gregorian month, Bikalpa – an Alternative jointly organize the “Last Thursday’s” event at Biratnagar in collaboration with Hotel Namaskar, Makalu Television and Merryland College (BBA) Biratnagar. Objective of the program is to disseminate the ideas and knowledge about entrepreneurship through the personal sharing of successful entrepreneurs. Also the program creates an opportunity to do networking and share ideas among the participants.
On 25th May 2017, Entrepreneur Narottam Aryal joined us for the 39th series of ‘Last Thursdays’ at Merryland College (BBA) for a discussion on the existing scenario of industry in the Biratnagar with over more than 90 people.
The program started with moderator Basanta Adhikari, Bikalpa – an Alternative Director addressing the audience. He introduced everyone about the program and shared the objective of program.
In this episode a very well – known and acclaimed Entrepreneur Narottam Aryal shares his tumultuous life journey from being a CEO to an owner of College . Being born and raised in Rural district of Nepal. He had to walk three hour to travel to school. In those days there was no electricity and telephone. All these hardship during his early life taught him a lesson to be honest and focus on your work. Everybody is unique in themselves. He was a bit rebellious regarding his freedom from the beginning. After passing his SLC he came to Kathmandu for his further studies. Professionally before starting his carrier in education sector. He work for Government job for Red cross Society and as CEO of Chaudhary groups of Industries. In spite of facing failures early on in his life and starting out late as an Educational Entrepreneur, he never gave up his passion and determination to work hard. In all the jobs he has done till date, he perfected and excelled at them, and never gave up. Also talking about his Entrepreneurship experience he expressed “Entrepreneurship is an experience that gives you ultimate freedom”. It gives you chance to inherit your position. You can have reasons for everything but it’s up to you to fulfill and achieve your dream. Losers see the pain and Gainers see the gain. Take the charge of your life .Entrepreneurship is beginning from the ground level. You don’t need a lot of money to be an entrepreneur or have to born in rich Family to be an entrepreneur. Also do what you want but don’t disrespect others. At the end you will have to protect yourself and your thoughts and listen to your inner voice.
In conclusion of his speech he delivered that Education is a public property either it’s private entity or public entity because it affects every one’s life. Kings College believe in talent rather than grades. Education should give a chance to everyone to grow. I let my children’s to explore the world not just make them study with books.
