Friday Discussion is a program designed to engage and inform the core members on the ideas of free market economy and classical liberal ideas. Discussions are made on the contemporary issues (local or national) through free market perspective. Article is selected and shared within the members to prepare oneself for the program.  The program is organized at the venue of Hotel Namaskar, Biratnagar on every alternative Friday (twice a month).

On 15 th July,31Ashad 2073 members of ‘Friday Discussion’ got together to discuss about the Article “Strategies for Achieving Poverty ,” by Lawrence Reed

During the discussion there were 10 participants who discussed on the Article. Poverty and prosperity both are interrelated to each other. Both can be achieved. In the Article the writers had argued how during the past the stringent policy lead to achieve clamoring poverty .Since the whole Article was based on the Strategies of Achieving the poverty. Participant had their own notion. As we know Globalization and Free market had helped many million to get out of the poverty but still there are many who are behind bars of the economic freedom. Achieving the poverty and prosperity depend upon the policies of the government. Discussion was also made on how china and India are growing and how we can benefit from it. Participant argued and raised the question that since we had abundant natural resources but we are still under least developed of the countries of the world. Finally we all came to the conclusion that it is only the sound economic policy which will lead us to the economic Prosperity. The whole was revolved around the writer Article.The whole discussion got revolved around the writer essay. Discussion Program was ended in 5:40pm
