Friday Discussion is a program designed to engage and inform the core members on the ideas of free market economy and classical liberal ideas. Discussions are made on the contemporary issues (local or national) through free market perspective. Article is selected and shared within the members to prepare oneself for the program. The program is organized at the venue of Hotel Namaskar, Biratnagar on every alternative Friday (twice a month).

The members of the Friday Discussion Group sat down at Hotel Namaskar Bar , on the 9th of December to discuss the article “Public Work Means Taxes”.

It was hot and Lively Discussion. In the Article the Writers had put concerned with the public works considered as a means of “providing employment”. Every work of Government consists of Tax payer’s money. Some participant put their opinion as Private organization spending doesn’t reach in all the sector so Government had crucial role in the development. So, we should look for indirect as well as direct consequences that come to existence .we should not look only who are directly benefited by government project but who are indirectly affected. During discussion some shared public Awareness is necessary about their rights. Tax payer’s money should be utilized wisely. Every individual citizens should work as watch dog for public work. Arguing on it some shared however, our government seems to have failed in maintaining Good governance system which had leads to lose it credibility in public.
